TAQA Gas is TAQA Arabia Group's largest Arm and revenue generator. Represented by 17 long-serving distribution subsidiaries in Egypt, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Syria and Libya, TAQA Gas is ranked among the region's largest operators in the field.
Run by a management team with over 30 years of experience in Natural Gas, Synthetic Natural Gas, Liquid Petroleum Gas and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), TAQA Gas's professional 2,600 staff members serving over 500,000 industrial, commercial and residential customers and distributed around 5.2 billion cubic meters of gas annually, a number expected to increase to 8 billion cubic meters by 2015. TAQA Gas has sold over 168 million cubic meters of CNG so far and has converted over 14,000 cars to NGVs.

TAQA Gas develops and operates natural gas distribution networks through 4 concessions in 12 Egyptian governorates.

Nile Valley - Upper Egypt
City Gas - Suez, South Sinai and the Red Sea
Repco - Damietta
Transgas - Kafr El Sheikh

Gas Distribution Services
1. Concession operation & maintenance in residential cities and industrial
    zones.
2. Technical operation & maintenance covering pressure reduction stations,
    high pressure transmission pipelines and medium and low pressure
    distribution networks.
3. 24 hour emergency services, customer service, invoicing and billing, gas
    marketing and industrial technical assistance.
4. CNG conversion, sale of gas and lube oil and after sales services.

Gas Distribution Projects
TAQA Gas connected natural gas to over 288,000 homes, 94 industries and factories, 900 bakeries and commercial shops, 3 power generation plants, 16 CNG stations and 26 pressure reduction stations and 45 regulators.

CNG (Master Gas)
TAQA Gas also caters to the growing market for compressed natural gas (CNG).Today,more than 90,000 vehicles in Egypt use CNG,which is 60 percent less expensive than the cheapest alternative fuel.This has encouraged private and government-owned transportation providers as well as private car owners to convert their gas and diesel engines to CNG. Compressed-natural gas (CNG) services in Egypt are handled through TAQA Gas" subsidiary Master Gas,a designer,builder and operator of natural gas fueling stations and conversion centers. Master Gas operates 7 stations selling more than 22 million cubic meters of CNG and 15 conversion centers that convert more than 2,000 vehicles on an annual basis.
