Egypt's ever increasing energy demands constituted the perfect ground for TAQA Arabia Group's growth & success as well as being the center of the group's regional expansion that has also provided excellent support to expanding our customer base.
Today, TAQA Arabia Group is well positioned to meet the region's escalating energy demand. We have attained a strong presence in 6 other MENA locations and have gained ample opportunities and made new partnerships not only in business, but also among those we proudly serve, thanks to our efficient, safe and responsible energy practices.
Since day one, our continuously growing investments did not only focus on our expansion. We also invested in enlarging our expertise, advancing our technology and diversifying our energy portfolio.
Egypt's enormous potential for renewable resources has paved the way for our new venture to step into the renewable energy sector on two tracks. First, by studying the possibility of building a solar plant in Egypt, and second, by exporting solar energy to Europe in cooperation with MEDGRID. Upon approval, this new window of opportunity will enable TAQA Arabia Group to satisfy the dramatically growing regional appetite for other energy sources thus solidifying our presence in the region, securing a bigger market share and flooding the group with more profitable returns, and will also certainly allow us to take part in sustaining our environment.
