Corporate Social Responsibility
Respect for human value and every individual's right to live a dignified life lies at the core of our values. This fueled our firm belief in the need to take an active part in the development of the communities we serve bearing in mind that we are partners in a long term beneficial relationship and that mutual respect and trust is necessary for our growth and success as well as the well-being of those communities. Our participation is not limited to providing our designated services; it is achieved through a broader approach to uplift those communities on a socioeconomic and environmental level.
To that end, TAQA Arabia Group has been cooperating with governmental and non-governmental institutions in a number of community projects that provide basic infrastructural needs as well as education and development opportunities and health care among other services.
Infrastructure and Utilities
In line with the government's diligent efforts to develop and raise the quality of life for citizens in deprived areas in Upper Egypt and springing from its strong sense of social responsibility and sincere commitment to improving the quality of life in underserved Egyptian villages, TAQA Arabia Group made a generous contribution to Dar Al Orman, a nonprofit institution active in rural community development, to connect power and water and perform house renovations in a village hosting more than 85 underprivileged families. The village is mostly inhabited by widows, divorcees, mentally and physically disabled persons and orphans with very low incomes. The project has enhanced the quality of life of those deprived families and has given them hope in a better future by fulfilling their basic needs and granting them a decent place to live.
We have also been supplying free gas to mosques and churches on a regular basis and have waived our fees, on a case-by-case basis, for the delivery of our services to poor residential customers.
Education and Skill Development
TAQA Arabia Group continues to support skill development activities and initiatives to promote entrepreneurship. We partnered with Injaz, a non-profit organization, in the implementation of its Entrepreneurship Master Class campaign, which aims to help youth acquire the entrepreneurial skills needed to start up their own business. In addition, we contributed to the work of the Salesian Don Bosco Institute in providing technical and professional training to thousands of Egyptian youth to prepare them to work as specialized workers and technicians and sponsored promising young Egyptian writers interested in writing about their country.

Community Service
TAQA Arabia Group has been supporting the efforts of several organizations working towards the sustainable development of underprivileged communities, through regular donations, contributions, and volunteerism.
Public Health
We have also been active in the public health sector where we recently invested in building and equipping an eye clinic in Suez to provide a full range of ophthalmology services to the surrounding communities.
